![]() The Sri Yantra is a cosmic pattern that holds within it all the patterns that are needed for human evolution. ![]() Sri Vidya is a super learning which involves the geometry of the Sri Yantra and the sounds of the Shri Lalita Shasranama. The Blessing Before Birth in English and Hindi have preserved these codes in pristine form. The secrets of Sri Vidya are coded within these conversations. The content therefore is of the highest order and the contexts are of parenting and learning in various stages of the child’s life. In the Garbha Gita, Devi herself, she gives all the knowledge needed for the child through these conversations. A Gita is different in its context, delivery, relationship between the participants and arrangement – all being aligned to the true spirit of a being. Conversations are generally classified according to their subject – such as subjective ideas, objective facts, directed towards others or regarding oneself their functions – such as functional / practical / goal oriented or smalltalk / bonding. Conversations are interactive communication between human beings. There is also the Anu Gita which holds the same conversation in a different context between the same characters. The Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is not the only Gita between Shri krishna and Arjuna. While the Mother reveals secrets of life through the Garbha Gita to Lord Skanda, the same is revealed as Vidya Gita to Rishis in a different context. ![]() The Mother Goddess is herself described as Vishwa Garbha and Swarna Garbha etc. The same name can be used for different Gitas because the word “garbha” itself holds many meanings in it. Others teach the Garbha Gita conversation between Shri Krishna and Arjuna which is distinct from the Bhagavad Gita. Some spiritual masters expound parts of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita that deal with human birth and life as Garbha Gita. Similarly there are Ashtavakra Gita, Avaduta Gita, Ribhu Gita etc, all having different contexts, influences and approaches but the same essence. Some conversations between Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati are presented as Guru Gita. There are many Gitas, the most popular being the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. It is then called a Sacred Song or a Gita, in the context of our sacred texts. When the content of a conversation is arranged according to the patterns of our inner spirit, it becomes the music of our hearts. Music in turn is an arrangement of sounds. A song is a musical arrangement of words that convey emotions and thoughts in a particular context. But meaningful and profound conversations that appear in our sacred texts are also called “Gita”. “Gita” is the Sanskrit word for song or singing. Garbha Gita, is the content of the Blessing Before Birth. ![]() Each character in the Puranas is a facet of our Vijnanamaya Kosha, spiritual network. The Puranas are spiritual sciences composed in the form of stories and narratives. There are 18 MahaPuranas and several UpaPuranas that form the body of knowledge called “Puranas”. Skanda Purana is the largest of all Puranas with a total of around 81000 verses. The Skanda Purana details the events leading to the birth of Lord Skanda and His journey thereafter. The Garbha Gita is a conversation between Devi Parvathi and Her son Lord Skanda. ![]()
